  2. Use 1 medium sized onion
  3. Use 1-2 medium size Boiled or raw potatoes

  5. Use 2 chopped green chillies
  6. Prepare 1/4 tablespoon cumin seeds
  7. You need 1/3 tablespoon salt or as per taste
  8. Get 1/3 tablespoon turmeric powder
  9. Take 1/2 Cup frozen or fresh green peas
  10. Prepare 2 tablespoons Oil

  1. Remove leaves(patte) From the stems of Fenugreek /Methi. Rinse the leaves thoroughly in running water.
  2. Now Chop fenugreek leaves. Chop the garlic cloves, onion, green chilli in small chunks and boiled or raw potato in square chunks.
  3. Heat a Pan(Kadai). Add 2 tablespoons Oil.
  4. Now add 1/4 tablespoon cumin seeds (jeera) then add chopped garlic and green chilli
  5. After 1 minute add chopped onion. Saute it for 2 mins.
  6. Add 1/3 Tablespoon salt & 1/3 tablespoon turmeric powder.
  7. Once onion becomes soft then 1/2 frozen or fresh green peas.
  8. Now add 1 medium size boiled or raw potato.mix it well. After 2 minutes add chopped fenugreek leaves. Mix it well.
  9. Cover it. Cook it for 5-6 minutes on medium flame. In between stir it.
  10. Once methi cooked well. After 5-6 minutes our aloo methi is ready to serve.you can serve it with roti, chapati, paratha or rice.
