And add pressure cooker Dal rice and add 3.5 cup water add Haldi powder salt And pressure cook on high flame 4 whistle.the rice and Dal are soft and mushy set a side.to another pan on medium heat add Ghee & oil and add musterd seed.and Hing green chili and onion and saute for 2 to 3 minutes. Now add chopped tomato and red chilli powder.salt and cook for tomato turn soft and mushy.
  5. Now pour the tadka on Khichdi and 1 teaspoon of ghee and cover the lid for 3 to 4 minutes.
